Common Questions We Hear

What is restorative dentistry?

Restorative dentistry focuses on repairing or replacing damaged or missing teeth. Treatments like fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures restore function, health, and appearance to your smile.

How long do dental restorations like bridges or crowns last?

With proper care, dental crowns and bridges can last 10–15 years or more. Good oral hygiene, regular dental checkups, and avoiding habits like teeth grinding can help them last longer.

Why is restorative dentistry important?

Restorative dentistry is essential for maintaining a healthy, functional smile. It helps repair damaged teeth, replace missing ones, and prevent small issues from becoming bigger problems. By restoring your bite and protecting your oral health, these treatments improve your ability to chew, speak, and smile with confidence—while also supporting your long-term dental and overall well-being.
